Estimating tile and adhesive quantities

Measure the surface area and add 10% for cutting and breakage, or 15% for diagonal layout. Divide the area by one tile’s area to get the count.

Adhesive use depends on the trowel: roughly 3–5 kg/m² for walls, up to 7 kg/m² for large formats. See the bag for exact figures.
